私の炊き込みご飯 (my takikomi gohan)

long time never post images of food liao. this is takikomi gohan until now i still dunno what is the meaning. asked hitomi before and according to her explanation was "cooked rice". but think urara told me is like rice with the ingredient cooked together. only ate takikomi gohan last year cos hitomi was the one cooking my dinner. quite like the taste cos when i looked at it, my first impression was it taste like 油饭 or 糯米饭 and i sort of like it very much. did asked her to teach me but then she din have the time to teach me but then she told me roughly how to cook. but then think i failed at the first time cos i added in too much water and so everything was very watery.
think the takikomi gohan suits ne very well cos is very simple to prepare and not too bad to eat. just simply choose the ingredients and then cooked together with the rice in the rice cooker. the most important thing is the spices to add in during cooking, which include sake, mirin, soya sause and dashi. of course the proportion of each is according to each and individual's preference. other than those can still add like salt, pepper or others, 自由发挥.
but think i really hope to see how hitomi cook cos i feel that her cooking is more nice as in more artistic. she always like to make the dishes nice nice tho it will only be nice for a while but she still spent the effort to do it. however the biggest irony is that she dun like to cook and yet her food is so nice lor... i cant even cook something good sia...
