have been eating pure japanese home cooked food this few days. of course the food were prepared by taro's mum and they are really good. too bad i din take photo cos everytime just forgot. this few days also got the chance to walk around cairns city and some other places. din really go any where also but i think is really fun for now. really having very relaxing life and eating good food.

journey to cairns

just some random pictures from the 2nd day of the travelling. reached rockhampton the first day and stayed there for the night after driving for 6-7 hours. then 2nd day spent abt 13 hours on the road. very tired journey.

now in cairns. everyday is very hot unlike gold coast tho gold coast is hot. every morning now, i will play basketball, play with dog, megu and also swim in the pool. is really relaxing. after that will shower and then eat lunch. today also did some pull-ups cos i long time never do liao. cos none of my houses have, only my amk house. anyway is really good to wake up early and then exercise. still wanna explore more of cairns cos din really explore much.

well... i just moved house to southport. had a hard time packing. anyway now all my things are in my new house. will be living with my god-sister the coming year. hope it will be good. now enjoying my life in cairns. very hot weather now!

have been travelling around this few days.

started off by following esther's mum and her brother to go harbour town to shop. nothing much, just walk around and shop. then went back to grab my clothes and went to ipswich cos need to attend esther's graduation the following day. came back to gold coast and stayed with them in surfers and at night, went to ashmore to have dinner again. then today went to mt nathan to the winery and had some wine tasting.

also got the chance to cut my hair in zap when i was at surfers. was accompanying esther and her family to the beach and happened to see zap got no customer. so went in and asked if i can cut then or not and since no customer so i can just cut lor. not so sure who cut my hair cos din she din talk too much to me. so when i finished cutting, i was talking to yuko, the first person who cut my hair in zap. found out that she will be going back to japan soon cos of her visa. came to zap the last time but she was not here cos she said she went back for some funeral. i din really know i was talking to yuko all the time during my haircut. just not too sure if is yuko cos she changed a bit so cant recognise and also if i know she is yuko, i would have asked her to cut for me. but all good, i got a pretty decent haircut and got a free shampoo. now my hair short and good for the summer. have to wait for another year for yuko to come back.

still felt a bit tired after so many days of non stop travelling. shld be going up to cairns soon, not too sure when. kinda look forward to the trip cos will be driving up and i believe it would be a lot of fun to be up in cairns.

yaris vs swift

was driving the 1.3 yaris last t week. felt that the car is really underpower but is still nice to drive. very small car and very easy to u-turn as well as easy to park. the acceleration of the first and second gear is relatively high and the gear ratio of the 2 gears are very close. in fact the gear ratio of all the gears are very close. the engine is always at quite a high rev. something i really like is the car when travelled at high speed, i can really feel the car being pushed down, not sure if is due the the aerodynamic or others. the car is also very stable even when i am accelerating at 130 and above. the cornering is also very fun and is really easy. not sure how the car would perform with a 1.5 engine? really hope i can try. however the car is really small, the back seats and the lugguge space is very limited which is not very good.

yesterday, i also have the chance to drive shuan's swift. at first i was doing my standard driving. then shuan was asking me to change gear only at 3000 - 4000 rpm and so i did. the car does produce a decent amount of power with a 1.5 vvt engine. realy can feel the difference with the 1.3 vvti engine. was being forced to do wheel spin and also full accelerate during cornering. was a bit scared initially cos is not my car and dun wanna damage his car. but overall, i think i quite like the car cos of its power and also the stability. dun have the chance to test when is at high speed, only drive in those neighbourhood areas where there are heaps of roundabouts and winding roads. the swift has the same problem with yaris which is the limited space at the back seat and the lugguge space. think honda jazz is the only small car that has the best back seat and lugguge space. haven try the mitsubishi colt so cant comment on that.

just few weeks ago, i did also test drive the honda civics. the only auto car that i had drive among the three. the whole car is very wide and heavy. the i-vtec engine is really effective at high rpm, which is the nature of the engine. handling wise, maybe i still need to get used to the handling cos when i turn in roundabout, the car seem to oversteer and i had to make adjustment. not sure how it would be like if i was driving the manual one. due to its weight, the car is really harder to stop. not so sure about the engine brake cos was driving the auto version. cant comment anything about the gear ratio and also the acceleration.

overall, i had a fun time driving all the cars. hope to have more chance driving again.

just went to sunshine coast yesterday. was the first time been there. visited the super bee, ginger factory and the macademia nuts factory. glad that taro and esther were there with us and was good taro was driving up and down the sunshine coast cos i dunno the location.

today just sent my mum off and when i came home, i was stuck in the traffic jam in the city. i think i did 23945 half clutching... it was really a very good exericse for my left leg. shld have spent $2.60 to go on the toll bridge and maybe i could escape the traffic. but all good now.

went to helensvale cos wanna buy some food the the rest of the week. was at kmart since jeff was there and i did tell him in the airport i would be there to look for him. had some of my exhibition photo printed and had them inserted into my ikea photo frame. now i have more photo to choose from , last time only one photo frame on my table which is the one i took with hitomi ages ago. anyway tool sometime for me to print the photos cos initially i was using bluetooth to transfer but then it din work so have to re send by my usb. after printing, went to have break with jeff and just catch up a bit cos never seen him for quite some time. din talk much before i go and get some food and went home. then went to return my rental car and also went to have the nagahama ramen at surfers.

next i went to southport cos need to print something. the print shop was recommended by my friend and he said is very good. but i think is ok only... well... maybe he got better service bah.

then came home cos was quite tired and had a short nap before i had my dinner. now still a bit tired. tmr still have to wake up early for a meeting. have to settle some visa issue tmr. well... i guess there are still a fair bit of things for me to settle before christmas and i think this year, will just be working on christmas. still not sure if will go up to cairns with taro and esther or not but i hope to go and see see.

have been considering to apply visa in austrlia for some time cos need it for work. however is really not cheap to apply, need to go trhough lawyer and also have to pay a lot of money for many things. not sure if worth it or not cos scare after apply still cant really find job or what or other reasons. another thing is still have to take english test which is something i hated most.

was talking to von-jie and she kept saying i can make it one and also asked me to be confident. well... i seriously have no idea how i can be as my english is always my worse subject and i dun think she can understand how i feel. she is english speaking and only recently she started to speak chinese how would she understand what i feel when u always fail english in class test and also the feeling when your english sux and makes your overall result to be affected. i really hated it. feel so unfair. then now apply the visa still have to take english test. is really something that i have to overcome. tho i know my english has certain kind of standard but just that the confidence is not there cos of previous experience.

was a bit annoyed yesterday cos of some issue. was talking with someone on msn and we were just talking with different frequency. initially i was wanting to share with the person some of my thots but then in the end i just could not take it and just try and end the conversation asap. this morning also like that. i guess we just cant communicate that well... is it me or my english or others? now i really not sure if i still want to try and talk to the person on certain things or not.

decided to stay for one more day in ipswich cos was wanting to check if i could switch my sg licence to au licence without any test or not. still waiting for taro and esther to wake up and ask them to go with me. maybe i would want to go and walk walk a bit after that. is really boring everyday in here so i just do a bit of work every morning to keep me occupied.

this morning was editing my logo text cos when i about to send the files to my boss and then i realised that the text is missing a 's'. well... is really not easy to just add a 's' cos the graphic is kind of complicated cos it was cretaed a few days ago and there are a few elements within the logo. so i had to slowly change and now is all good. wun be showing first cos i am not allowed to due to intellectual properties. unless they reject then i think i will post to show.

er... finally uni is done and exhibition was also over. so now basically is waiting for the graduation ceremony. recently have been so call working, still considered as part time, permanent part time. doing designs, graphic for website and might also be doing some filming and videos next time. just show something i had done but was not being selected and so decided to show. just a simple logo that i had done with graphics and i kind of like it cos it was so not my style but now i just tried and i kind of like it.

went to ashmore seafood to have dinner yesterday and did really enjoy the meal. if anyone were to come and visit me, will surely bring to eat one. is really worth it... trust me. garlic bread is free, the meat is like super big and thick, think 1.5cm thick. then still got others so yummy.

today after meeting, just came to ipswich and had steamboat for dinner. now feelign hungry again cos dun have white rice for dinner and i was like complaining throughout the whole meal.

not sure what to do the next few days cos we are all pretty bored but i guess i would have to continue and work on my logo and then after this week, will have to start to do website and also the corporate identity items. dunno when will collect the wages but i hope is soon...

ok... tho uni finishes already and i am really feeling bored. think this few days will just be staying at home since i am lazy to go out alone. yesterday i was being awaken by hasan at very early. he was at helensvale and was after his interview. so... what he wanted was me going to uni and... play fifa with him. i mean i was ok with it cos i also nothing to do at home. so i slowly wake up, pack and then surf net a bit cos hasan said he went home to get something. so i slowly walked to uni in the hot sun with my big bag lor... sigh~

walk until half way, saw the metro bus coming and alan, who is the bus driver stopped and took me to uni. was glad cos had been meeting kind people recently. the last time was the exhibition day where i missed the number 5 bus cos it reach super early and is really unusual. no choice but i had to take another bus and the bus only stopped at southport. so when i alighted the bus, i asked what bus could i take cos i need to go to the art centre. he said there is no bus and he offered to send me there. anyway i reached there on time.

back to my uni trip. so i reached there and was talking to hasan abt job thingy and the future plans. did talk for sometime before i started to edit a bit of my resume in WORD format cos i was asked to do so by the agency. so change here and there and send to the agency. well... i really sux at using microsoft lor, gosh... speaking of gosh... i miss monica's presence cos she would always say a lot of things when she work, very entertaining. i can still rem there was once when i sat beside her and she was as usual talking while working and the person who sat beside her was acting laughing unintentionally. i did spotted she laughed. anyway (another monica's phrase)... me and hasan did play a few games of fifa and then after that i walked home all the way.

today really din do anything. feeling lazy and just watch some variety shows and also best motoring. discovered the new evo 10 and i almost fainted.is like using alfa's back and volvo's front. what's wrong with mitsubishi?? where's the fierce look of the evo series. how come suddenly gone? dunno why nowadays the new car designs are so shitty. really cant take it. the new honda civics is still quite alright cos i really like the interior but then the exterior is really a bit off. i am referring to the sport (si) version and the standard version i can say just forget abt their existence. was also looking at yaris and i felt that everything is still acceptable. i mean it has ok look tho i used to hate it and it actually has quite nice interior with a lot of the space to put personal things. well... i still dun like the centre dashboard. but one thing i really cannot take it is the gear shift thingy. it is super duper ugly. the gear is only a stick with no cover and it looks like a match stick. hope toyota can make some changes to that. think i gotta stop or else i would just complain non-stop.

so... is abt bed time but then still dun wanna go sleep. maybe just surf a bit of net then say. mon will be another exhibition and think hitomi should be coming. this year i only see her twice i think, kinda of missing her. we never talk on the phone ever since her phone was spoilt so i guess i would really wanna talk to her on the exhibition day itself. looking forward for that...

graduation exhibition

today before going to the exhibition, i actually received a call from the agency and the girl told me that if i am interested in a flash developer job. well... i am really surprised to get that phone call cos i did rem i sent out a few(lot) of email, resume to companies. the company i heard from nexgen studio australia and i used to work in nexgen studio singapore. i was told if i am ok to go to brisbane to work and also if i am willing to relocate to sydney within 6 mth. i think i am actually ok with anything just that i need visa to work. hope everything can go well and so i can stay in aussie to work.

during the exhibition, i also got offer from a guy who is looking for graphic designer as he had moved to a manager post and would need someone to replace him. the company is based in gold coast and mainly deals with web, print and grpahics. seems quite good but heard is by contract base where the nexgen studio is a perm job.

one of my course mate actually asked me why din i try photon vfx (top visual effect company in au). she also asked me to give a try and maybe can get a job there. i guess i will also start to compile some stuffs into a dvd and send them. hope everything will go well.

finally school is over liao and now just waiting for graduation. hm... suddenly felt so free and bored as no more assignment to do liao. everyday is like doing nothing and trying to prepare some presentation for next week.

din really do much this week, basically went for a hair cut, go out with urara, go brissy with the jeff, jason and hasan. the brissy trip was not that pleasant. not because we went there by train but we were being like mis-treated. initially was wanting to talk to the director of a studio but then he was like not interested. was thinking then why in the first place he wanna meet us... anyway dun wanna talk abt it too much.

still waiting for monica to see if she wanna go dinner or not. now in uni cos at home internet down and a few friends are here to play game. the lab now becomes a mini lan shop. super slack...

well... is my final week of the university life liao. very fast sia... everyone is rushing for assignment but i seem to have nothing much to do. jeff, monica, joelle, hasan and others were like so stressed with games design and i can really feel it cos they dun have much time to do. this week gotta hand in and not sure if they can finish in time or not. i could still rem monica was so down last week as she could not design and was wanting to give up. joelle lost her textures last night and had to re-do. hasan still struggling with his animation. jeff... he is enjoying it but then hope he can realise that he dun have much time.

next week i have to deal 2 of the remaining courses' assignment. one is a presentation of my industry practice portfolio and the other is interactive media assignment. the portfolio thingy still quite ok cos i have most of the things and just need to organise and would have to prepare a presentation. the interactive media assignment a.k.a flash, well... pretty much is done and just need to input background music in and can submit liao.

the rest of my friends are still struggling to deal with games but have no time for the flash. monica only did the interface design, joelle had concept and some graphics, jeff has graphics and had imported some graphics into flash with the help of hasan. now everyone is like helping one another with assignment. since i dun have much to do, i also help as much as possible.

have been practically working and playing in uni for the past few weeks. dun really spend much time at home. the only time at home will be sleep time and that's it. pretty no life. had been playing fifa with hasan during somem break time to reduce stress. hm... we quite balanced match. have to think of ways to defeat him.

today went to buy groceries and realised that it had been quite a long time since i went to buy food. cos have been staying in uni and eating out so lazy to buy lor. bought quite a lot of things and had been preparing for food for the last few hours. made green bean soup and making some meat for dinner. will be cooking dinner so and can enjoy a few variety shows later.

exhibition and graduation dates had more or less confirmed and will have to prepare for that after my semester. have to also make some plans to go out with some friends. hm...

went to surfers again... at night time for dinner. that's the food that jeff ordered and my food forget to take cos too hungry and then when food come straight away eat liao and forogt to take.

hm... heard from monica (sunwoo) that there was a hailstorm yesterday night. glad that i came home early yesterday or else i surely ganna.

anyway, was pretty down and lack of ideas a few days ago. most possibly is because of stress from the dvd. but then today i was glad that i can managed to get something down for my interactive media class. another reason that motivated me might be because my previous assignment got highest in class which forces me to have desire to do better. so today i was thinking of the topic that i wanna do and also do some graphics. so as i do, i got more ideas. as can see, i would be doing a flash application on psp and it will really be something that is different. had the basic layout designed and also got think of how the transition animation would be. topics wise still very messy and maybe i will talk and discuss with lutze tmr.

finally finsihed my essay, thanks to hasan. was working on my interactive media assignment today. that's when i started to think and i realised that i am in need of ideas. currently my brain is blocked, stuck or whatever is called. just no idea... while i was thinking for ideas today, i kind of like dunno what style to use. when i opened illustrator, i am like lost, indecisive in the colour selection, the graphic style and others. was asking myself, am i really a designer? where is my creativity?

what is my style exactly? my answer is always simple and clean design. but then can i always stay using that style? have been losing some confidence in my work cos had been looking and comparing wiht my friends' work and felt that everyone can do such good jobs. well... it just makes me feel my work was not so good after all.

anyway today had a thunder storm which is super rare in aussie. is the first time i saw thunder storm in aussie. real thunder and lightning and the lightning is super bright and long sia. glad that just now urara gave me a lift back home or else i would have to walk back in the rain.

er... where shld i start?

maybe start from my psp bah. had been insisted to stay with using devhook to play my psp games but had recently changed my mind and go with the custom firmware. so now is with ver3.52-m33. made the change cos really wanna play some games. mainly ff7 and wangan midnight. started to play ff7 and feel is quite ok. all japanese but i still can roughly understand. er... some part dunno might wanna ask urara to help me, since she is currently my japanese sensei. this time the ff7 fighting system is changed again and is quite similar to the ff12 style or maybe the same, i really dunno. graphics wise, all very nice but sometimes cant skip through the movie, which sux. only play a while so dunno the game well yet. next is wangan midnight portable on the psp. is similar to the previous entry, shotoku battle. this time just add in wangan midnight elements. the game physics is changed and need some time to get used to the control. but the learning curve is super steep cos i cant even win the first match in the senario. maybe is because i am battling reina, one of the most powerful driver in the game. but also cant be so hard right. maybe i just need to read instructions. got try anothe game, fifa 2008. got influence by hasan cos he was showing us how fifa08 is on pc. so very tempted and i went to try the game on psp. er... i shld say is ok only cos i still prefer the winning eleven style. still having some difficulties in dribbling and getting used to the control cos is diff from winning eleven.

this afternoon went to surfers again. dunno how many times this month liao. anyway was there to meet someone with the original intention to shop and relax. so reached surfers around 2 and my friend haven reach so just walked around lor. then decided to go mac to eat something and wait. when i reached mac, is like full of people who just finish surfing. i hate places with a lot of people but then i just wanna a cheap place to sit down. so waited at one of the queues and in the end that was not a queue just look like one. so went to another one. and after a long time is my turn.

mac guy, "hi, what do u want?"
me,"cheeseburger and..."
mac guy, "medium or small?"
me,"er... (thot to myself: got medium or small one meh?), er... small one (cos cheaper) "
mac guy, "so is medium cheeseburger?"
me,"ya... and a medium coke..."

so he pressed pressed pressed and told me $3.95. then he go and take the food and came back with the cheeseburger meal. i was like super angry cos all the while his tone was not good lor and when i told him that he took the wrong order, he was like not his fault like that. he still said he confirmed with me twice. was really very angry then. cant he even differentiate what is cheeseburger and cheeseburger meal meal. why i go to other mac dun have this kind of prob??? what's with his attutide?? anyway in the end i just take the food and looked for a seat. was wanting to asked him to refund...

anyway just sat down and eat. so finished the cheeseburger and then just continued to sit. then phone call from jason and he said got a lot of changes to make for the dvd. my mood was like changed cos was supposed to relax today and then now gotta go back to uni to make changes. mostly the changes are made by the fine art people. they had been very annoying cos they are the one who are making the changes. they like dun wanna be the same as us. was thinking why not they design themselves and graduate themselves lah. i dun even have the time to sleep and u all are like saying wanna change this and that and u all never do anything. what's wrong sia...

so no choice, went back and made changes and will complete the changes tmr morning. and now i am just doing some reading for my essay cos have to hand in on mon.

dvd studio pro sux

i have no idea why i cjust cant finish my building for the dvd.

created a graduation dvd with all menus and videos but then i just cant finialise the building structure. is really very annoying cos if not successful, then i cant burn on the dvd and also means that all my hard wrk will go down the drain. this is really not good...

had tried many many many times but still cant work. tried different ways of testing also not working. haven been sleeping recently. feel so tired

today went to surfers with taro, esther and sae. danny, and marvin were also here. then still have thomas, jaslyn and weng. today like ipsiwch excurtion to gold coast sia. anyway had a good time with them. went to the beach and met up with my "da jie". but anyway, the main purpose of today's trip to surfers is because got oakley sales at half price. hm... is very tempting and yes... i did uy one... dun ask how much but is half price lah...

now still waiting for my render... so hungry and sleepy now... not sure if i wanna go home for a while to eat something and then come back. think just wait for a while more for my rendering bah...

regular update

well... is about time to update the blog i guess...

currently i am still in uni, haven sleep yet, can say tired but also can say not tired. now cant do anything cos have to wait for a few more hours before i can get the photos from someone. after that i will have to work on the interface of the graduation dvd. have been working on the dvd this few days and all i did was to copy and paste names into the interface and then chase around for other people's demo reels and their details. feeling a bit sian sia... friday have to give to the boss so everything have to be sui sui for him to see. hope i can get the dvd out asap.

had motion capture few days ago, really cant remember how many days ago cos had been working non-stop and no sleep so dunno past how many days liao. sounds pathetic but then that's the life of a designer. anyway the main point is about the motion capture. well, i actually had experienced before during my poly times and now what school is just planning to teach next semester. so they had people to come to teach the process. when the person was teaching, i was filming cos we need to do a teaching video but at the same time i was also recalling all the things that i was being taught last time. l-frame, calibration and blah blah blah...

was filling up the time sheet for my industriy practice and realised that i already clocked for 164 hours and still need 36 more hours to fulfill the criteria. initially i still scare i cant reach the target but now i think i scare i over work sia.

thinking of going for another haircut next week cos hair is pretty long and have to spend time to style. but then where got time to go cut hair? dun even have time to sleep...

anyway this semester also finishing soon, really quite fast and i will need to concentrate on the graduation show and hope during the show, i could get some interview appointments from the industry people.

hm... one thing now still worries me is the history class cos need to come out with an essay soon. the essay had to show depth of research and had to have at least 10 references, really in my heart i was like "are you kidding?" is really cazy lor. got pressure cos have to prepare a small presentation by extracting some of the info from the essay. then after that still have to study for a final test. so far that course only had a test and had 35/40 which i am still quite happy about it.

now have to try and keep myself from sleeping cos i wanna get the photos asap so that can continue with the dvd. dun like the feeling of waiting and do nothing. other people in this lab had fallen alseep either lying on the table or used 3 chairs as bed. so strange, cos even holiday still got people stay overnight to do work.

recently weather: hot with strong wind... what's wrong sia...

had been feeling angry on a few occasions. firstly, ganna dua by someone, dvd quality sux big time and also inconsiderate people.

was really quite pissed off when i was being dua. i mean i was tired liao but yet walked all the way for u to uni cos i made a promise. then i had to walk another 40min back home. but then angry also no use, as if if the more angry i get, i wun get dua.

was quite excited on the dvd assignment initially but then as i do on, i realised that first, the software is so primitive and a lot of functions are not doable. then is the video compression. have to waiti for the whole night just to re-compress the video. lastly is the final quality that was being output. i cant believe it cos the quality is so shitty. i guess i just dun really do much research on the dvd studio pro software. well... at least i know that the dvd studio is a time based software and not go by the physical file size. if dunno what i mean, forget abt it.

inconsiderate people are everywhere. had so many of them as my housemate and i really had enuff. but then this time, is not my housemates being annoying cos they are very good and considerate. just when i was so pissed after knowing i was being dua, there were some people in the lab that i was working on playing some crapping music which really added more oil in my fire. i mean comeon lah... use headphone. if dun have then just tolerate without music, what's wrong sia.

sometimes is really so hard not to ”含怒到日落“. i try not to but and i rarely get angry but then really this time i really got quite angry. sorry for jeff cos i did show him some attitude however, he din do anything.

anyway... used most of my energy to clean up my room and toilet. will need to prepare for later's dinner. boiled some 冬瓜茶 and hope that can really 消我的火(怒)气.

dvd studio pro

have been working in school the few days, even overnight just to do the dvd assignment that was due this coming friday. had almost of the dvd done just left with a sound page, some enhancement and also the cd label. then will still need to consolidate all my images and my concept images and do up the presentation slides. so far i had an idea for my presentation slide which is using my famicom skins to add as the background or so called in-corporated into my slides. still in the process or working. but then think i would need to settle my dvd first. was thinking of staying at home to rest for a day but then i think i would just go school later and finish up my work.

had a test on the last wed and not sure what will the result be. still have to work on the essay assignment cos that is the subject i hated most.

next assignment for interactive media would be doing flash website. dunno why i still scare of flash even tho i had lessons on flash but i just feel that i am not so confident in doing flash websites.

today 乃祯 shld be in aussie liao. hm... dunno how is she. hope she is ok.

felt so tired this few days... and had a bad dream last time. dreamt of weighing only 44kg and i told myself i really have to force myself eating. cant allow myself to get thinner liao. hope i wun get as light as 40 something kg cos it really freak me out.

seriously have not been blogging cos really starting to get more and more busy. from last fri, had been helping yaoyao to work on her 3dmax animation. well, i really sux at 3d animation but then still managed to help her. not too bad also cos can like practise on simple animation. spent the whole weekend helping her.

on the monday, went to send my 大姐 and 乃禎 to the airport. time really flies cos is weekend again and think 姐 will be coming back on this friday. have to help her to look for the houses details.

for the past few days, i had been working on my dvd project. doing an interactive dvd on wangan midnight. tho is something i like, but then i am sort of like getting so tired of doing cos i had been meeting with problems which is really pissing me off. glad that lutze is really a good tutor cos he really gives a very good support. hope to get the dvd done as soon as possible.

went to surfers with taro and esther yesterday and had yummy, the korean food, at southport. din do much also, was wanting to follow them cos really feel tired after the whole day of work and so wanna relax a bit.

so today once again went to school at 8am and then worked all the way till 10pm++ then came home. er...forget to return monica her ipod. so sorry... monica had been very entertaining, really glad to know her as a friend. today i requested her to teach me number 1 to 10 in korean, hope i can still remember the next time i see her. her dvd screen work is quite nice. she is doing on death note and she seemed to be really getting very used to motion. but then today i also feel my motion skill had improved.

jeff's dvd is also very nice. really surprise me, not say i look down on his work, just that i din know that he can do something that he din show those kind of style to me before. dunno why i felt that my work is no longer special and nice.

hm... guess have to stop here cos was wanting to cook something to eat after i showered but then until now i had not even cook so must go and eat and sleep. tmr as usual have to go back to uni to do work. wed still have a test, dunno how am i going to like prepare for it lor. sigh~ really sian sia...

seems like everytime when i feel hungry, my ideas will start to flow. was thinking of the end year graduation show items. this time is the inviation card. right now is still lack of information and also need to show my so-called boss. need to tell him my concept and see if he likes my graphics or not.

well... had been talking with hasan and he commented that my style is always simplifying things. i was telling him that i seem to be like a modern cubist and my design is like the cubism style.

still looking forward for the show cos really feeling excited now. but before that i have to really do a lot of work for that.

have been raining the past few days and is really very unusual as australia is known to be a very dry place. well... was wanting to go and buy some food but in the end, i din cos dun feel like going out in the rain.

went to uni today and got the chance to look at joelle's name card. really very amazed by her design cos is really nice and pro. hm... actually i am pretty jealous of her work also. she is a very good illustrator and a graphic designer. really quite respect her work. was wanting to get her design for own reference but then she left early so dun have the chance. i guess i would get from her the next time.

well... is been about a week since my new friends came. as in i knew some new friends this week. they are from taiwan and they had been very good to me as we now eat together and also go out together. really enjoying myself very much. think this semester is really good as i have had good housemates and also good mates.

happened to meet the 2 girls on tuesday when i went to pay my rent. they are here to study english and after a month, they will be going back to their work. really felt that they are my sisters, one elder and other younger sister.

school work are going to be getting hard on me now cos need to write an essay and i need to get at least 10 references. well... is really not easy for me cos i already having hard time writing an essay and now i still need to get at least 10 references. to me it sounded a bit ridiculous and need to get most of the references from books and not from internet sources. however on the whole, i have to say that the theory course is really very interesting cos i really learnt heaps of history and amazed to learn how the people in the past think and what were their concept.

this week think i also need to go school to film how the fine art people put up their work for exhibition. hm... going to employ 3 cameras and would be using 2 cameras for taking close-up and some moving shots. the last camera will be used for wide shot, hoping to do a time-lapse. might need to stay overnight in school also.

was glad that i actually did majority of my website and also tidy up my portfolio. but i still have troubles with getting the domain. at least now i can still go and enjoy a bit cos had been asked to go beach and other places.

have to find time to go library also cos of the stupid references and also need to think what topic i have to write for my essay. sian sian sian... "当我说三次，就代表我是认真的".

hm... this week really fortunate to have eaten a lot of good food, all cooked at home. got eat vegetable also... haha... i also eat vegetable one hor... last year i still need to be forced then will eat now i really started to eat vegetable liao... means i grown up liao... wooho...

today is my first time almost late due to overslept. really had been very tired this few days cos was working hard on my website trying yo solve all my codes. finally the website has its structure out and i had upload quite a few stuffs on the test server. had some major changes this 2 days and really tired me out. now i am waiting for my videos to be compressed and then i will upload to the server again. the proble i faced now is the stupid firebox browser. is really an irony that i like firefox so much and now firefox gave me problems. surprisingly internet explorer was not giving me problems. well... just have to solve this problem this few days.

the class i almost late was the history of 20th century design. i had to admit that the course is quite intersting. tho i really hate theory subjects but then i still find the lesson contents attract me. but i still hate theory subjects. in this course, there are many assignments and tests. sux sia...

today also registered for the domain name but not sure why when i got home, i got an email saying that my account had been cancelled. just emailed them and now gotta wait for them to reply .

have been watching the anime series recently. is a 45 epi anime for part one. decided to download this anime cos is an anime that accompanied me to grow up. think is about 20 years ago when i first watch the show in taiwan through the standard television channel, at that time still no cable channels. in every epi, they started with same beginning introduction and then also ended with similar endings. is kind of predictable how the story will end but i just feel so amazed everytime i watched the show. really very 懐かしい... that is all i can say. dun think many people will know this anime and dun think anyone will like to watch the anime. well... i guess i am those who likes old things... but the anime did bring back heaps of memories of my childhood days.

recently or rather today, i started to work on my portfolio cos will be having an exhibition at the end of the semester. did a namecard and also built a simple website. well... everything is still in the beginning stage but at least i am starting to work on it liao. today also got the chance to meet with the fine art students cos will be helping to do the printing for the graduation booklet. feeling happy at the same time pressure. well... i guess i just have to do my best but i do have some ideas in mind but still need to spend time thinking and conceptualise down. think i also need to do more researches also.

few days ago i got my new hdd and then i transferred some stuffs into it. halfway through the transfer, the hdd stopped and then i disconnected everything. the next thing i know is the hdd got error and i cant boot into it. was glad that now ok liao everything is working fine and i cna use the hdd again.

wangan midnight anime was out finally after a long long wait. was really waiting and checking the website that few days. when the anime come out, i was like super happy. not too bad for the 3rd and 4th epi and the anime is still following the comic very closely. went to play the game on the tuesday after cutting my hair. stopped at the b class after losing a few rounds.

went to cut hair at zap last tuesday. another japanese shop and really cut not bad sia. cut by this lady called yuko. like her way of cutting. highly recommended by my friends also.

my life without july the 18th

have been sick for the entire week and until now i am still feeling sickly... started to have slight fever on the monday at ipswich and the temperature just get higher and higher from 37+ to 39. i was pretty amazed by the thermometer's reading. it was really quite hard to get through the last few days. the fever reached its climax on the 18th and i could only sleep and do nothing. really cant move and dun recall me going to the toilet and also din eat anything. er... think got drink jeslyn's milk, tho tasted like plain water. had been thinking of ways to get myself to perspire but i just cant sweat. plus the fact that the weather is so cold and it really became very ironic to sweat in the cold weather. there were a few times i could sense that i would be sweating but then once i got out of the blanket, i felt cold. was thinking when would i ever be healed sia... but then after the long sleep, i was glad that on the 18th night or maybe the 19th midnight, i felt myself sweating cos i did touch my head and i felt a bit of wetness. that night was extremely cold and i managed to survive with a single quilt. finally i was able to recover on thursday and continue with what was supposed to be done.

now in gold coast with heaps of stuffs and felt that my room had shrunk. everything is becoming very squeezy now. monday school would resume again and i still have things to settle. the piority would be getting a placement place. hope i can get a good one and not too far so that wun need to travel so far. then need to book an appointment for hair-cut and hope to get my hair cut by next week. finally my last semester liao, glad that this sem have quite good and caring housemates. the german guy had just asked me to go play wii at other's unit but i really dun feel like going cos i dun wanna to spread my virus to them. at least i felt that the 2 housemates are more polite and friendly which is really different from the rest.

yesterday supposed to meet urara for dinner but then she last minute had something on so we changed our plan and switched to lunch instead. went to this japanese restuarant which i never been to before and the food there was not too bad and was quite big potion with affordable price. er... but then the meal was paid by her, still felt quite bad and really have to treat her back.

before meeting urara, someone actually came up and talk to me asking me if the bus that we would be taking would take us to surfers or not. i told her that the bus should be able to. but then the bus din cos is an earlier bus which only stopped at southport. then we changed bus at southport and later got to surfers. when we alighted, i saw that the girl dun seem to know the place well so i offered to bring her around cos i still had some time before meeting urara. seriously i dunno what to talk to her cos she is not a chinese-speaking person so the things i talked to her were very general stuffs and basically just what i could think of i would ask lor. plus sometimes i really dun get what she is saying cos she either talked very fast or there were some phrases that i really dun understand (hope she din read my blog). so we ended up walking from the beginning of the street to the end and din go into any shops.

then when time's up for meeting urara we exchanged our mobile number and then agreed to go home together cos we are actually living next to each other, just a few units away. so urara came and walked me to the place where she booked.

after lunch, we went and started walking the surfers street again but then din really see anything. but then urara did went to try some clothes while i just helped her to carry her things and also have her opinions. i had also asked urara to bring me to where she cut her hair and she told me that yuko can give a good haircut and i think is the same as the person who cut steve's hair. on our way, we happened to meet the girl then i met earlier in the day and so i asked her to join us. din see much things before urara had to leave. so we also like want to leave surfers cos really feel quite bored liao.

next we went to pacific fair to look for more dresses as pacific fair is a much bigger shopping centre. took the bus and then wen to pacific to do more shopping. at about 5 something, we left the place and returned home. then have pasta in my friend's unit and later her new housemate came home. so we started talking and do nothing. but then after a while, her housemate went to sleep and we just continued to watch tv. watched for some time and i went home to shower and sleep.

today should be going to get some groceries... by the way her name is brittany.

today went to harbour town for some shopping. so took the number 5 bus as usual and got there around 12pm. then just walk the standard path i always walked and see the same shops. after walking around, just went to the cinema to continue playing my wangan midnight, a class stages. not very satisfied today cos had been losing a few matches... T_T... all by stupid mistakes. so after that went straight away to buy my groceries at woolies. as i was walking i saw jamie of big brother walking towards my direction. i was like " ey... 那不是 jamie 吗?", but then i din talk to him and just walked past him. he looked exactly the same on tv... still thot the people shown on the tv will have a slight difference in real life. anyway just gotten heaps of biscuits and chocolates and come home liao.

still cant stop feeling excited thinking about the wangan midnight game i just played... won a few races and also upgraded my car. tho is still not up to standard but i am still feeling happy. was waiting for marlon to knock off cos he had to stay for overtime so we went to harbour town to wait for him. went to look for moisturiser cos my hands are getting dry and seem to be cracking. after that went to the cinema cos still have the time and so i started to play.

just got home after paying my rent. my house was being cleaned up yesterday and i was quite shocked when i got home. hope i can get to stay with good housemates and keep the house clean.

finally got my tax file number being sent to me, really took ages for the australian govenment to send something, very inefficient. sux...

wangan midnight

today went to brisbane with the initial plan of accompany marlon to look for his car. but then in the end we din make it in time so decided to go to central. just walk around and then shane said he wanna go to the arcade centre. he and marlon just played a racing and a shooting game while i continue to play my wangan midnight. is the maximum tune first series and i managed to play a few rounds and it was really great cos i am enjoying the game and really hope the psp version can quickly release the game. also hope that the psp version can allow me to have the same excitment when playing or else i will really feel disappointed. think might be going to play in harbour town every thursday for a few games and since no one really plays in here. in sg i dun get the chance to play cos there are a lot of experts and they dun give chance and so i dun wanna waste my money there. tho here dun have the maximum tune 2 so will still continue to play the first series. now getting much used to the game tho still not really good at the sharp cornerings and sometimes the medium cornerings i also will bang against the wall. think i still need more practises but i think i am enjoying the game. now still waiting for the wangan midnight anime to be out on the 20th july and also the psp game also to be released around july.

work for the following week will be the same from monday to thursday. will need to go buy some food to cook for the meals cos now bringing lunch everyday to save money. 1.01am now, gotta sleep...

transformers

went to watch transformers just now and felt that the 3d animation and the camera angle was really great. tho is just a show for showing special effects and 3d animation but i still felt the show is not too bad. story wise, i think is a bit sux cos not much of a story. some part quite funny also. after the show, saw micheal outside the cinema waiting. then he asked jason and marlon to watch with him again. i dun wanna watch again cos wanna go home. but before going back had a chance to play wangan midnight at the arcade. it was my first time playing cos usually i wun spend the money to play. but today happened that someone left the game halfway and i continued to play.

today got my first pay slip liao, after 3 days of working. er... after tax i am still left with 411aud and felt that the tax really quite high in aussie lor. wow... 61aud went to the tax, so sad sia... anyway not too bad tho, at least got some extra cash to spend. will be resting at home tmr and then do some clean up as my housemate had went back to jap and the whole house is left with me alone and wanna keep the house clean and hope to have good housemates coming.

saturday shld be going to see car with marlon cos he just met with accident and wanna get a replacement car. tired...

camera angles

have been watching the drama 换换爱 this few days. quite like some of the camera angles and the shots they took. like the way they moved their camera and also how they make used of the positive and negative spaces. i guess i have to absorb as much as possible and then can use it as my filming technique next time.

the story wise still ok, pretty much the standard kind of story, kind of expected. maybe because this kind of shows are better in attracting audience. think i like more of their camera movement as in how they pan their camera and then reveal other things or people. also like the way they used their camera to create very nice depth of field and showed different layers.

currently the show is until epi 3 and think now it should be epi 4 on the taiwan tv and i had to wait a while before i can dl and watch.

today took the train from ipswich again and come back to gold coast. er... the gold coast train from roma street that i took this afternoon is a new train and is the first time i saw that kind of train. the cushion seats are much harder and the interior still got the plastic plastic smell. the announcer voice is also different, tho still male's voice but is more lively.

nothing to do today but i guess i would just rest and then maybe tmr go out and buy some food. will be working on monday but still not really sure what i would be doing. now also not so sure about the place where i would be working. still waiting for jeff to confirm with me.

weather quite cold these few days again but i kind of like it. tho cold but still bearable but the morning is still hot and then early evening will start to get cold.

internet down for the weekend, really felt quite torturing cos really too used to having the net liao. can only watched tv and then do nothing. stayed at home most of the time and only go out when need to buy food.

this morning the internet is finally back and straight away go and download the stuffs that was being piled up over the weekend. now waiting fot them to finish and then can start watching liao. wangan midnight going to finish liao, so happy.

is holiday period now, nothing much to do and hope can get replies from the jobs or else really quite boring. maybe later go and play soccer. sian...

finally the wangan midnight animation is out. another racing anme. unlike initial d, this anime focus on car having high horse power and the track is on wangan expressway. watched the first episode and quite everything and the graphics is not too bad. the cars have better rendering that initial d. the devil z and black bird are not seen in initial d and they look super nice.

have been woken up by the hot sun in the morning this few days but later in the day, the weather becomes very cold again. glad that now is not that cold, think is about 10+ degree. thursday still have to go south bank to hand in assignment. must remember to bring thick jacket sia cos it will be cold that day.

walked home from uni at around 1.30am cos wanna watch f1. yesterday was racing in canada and out of the 22 cars that raced initially, 12 managed to finish the race. there was also a terrible accident whereby driver kubica's car went flying into the air and then crashed at full speed onto the side wall. think his condition is stablised now. however, the ferrai team did not have good result as massa was being dis-qualified and raikkonen only managed to take the fifth position. went to bed after watching f1.

then wake up around 12 cos it was too hot in the morning and then straight away i started to do my assignment. was feeling very disappointed with the work i did the last time and decided to redo everything. so this afternoon, without eating anything, i started to work on that assignment until like 7+ in the evening. er... cant say very good but at least i think is better and chose different colour theme from the last time. now still left with the last graph and will work on that tmr and finish uo the assignment. will put on the blog for people's comments.

last week was a busy week and i stayed in school everyday from evening to that next morning and then go home sleep and go back uni. then happened to know micheal played dota also and then we started to play in labs with the 24 inch imac computers. is really fun as we started playing 3v3 and then basically i just own them. some of them just started to play or maybe played a few times only. is really easy to win them cos they know nothing about the game. got played with micheal and jeff 1v1 and also win them easily. but besides i also learnt to play tower defence aka td. i dun like to play td cos i sux at that but then was glad jeff knew a simple one and he eatught me how to play and ironically every td game i turned out to be the winner.

er... played on bnet recently but was not very happy cos din win much cos i always teamed with noobz and also they like to leave when losing. then also a bit lag cos only 512 connection. really miss my 12000 connection in sg sia. at least i can play some game to kill my boreness.

had asked jeff to help me to send my resume to k-mart cos he working there. was quite strange cos even casual position also requires resume. thot like go there or friends intro then almost can get the job liao. well... hope can get a job so that at least holiday can do wome work and earn some cash.

cant get to sleep recently cos my body clock had been messed up by my last week's assignment. cos everyday slept in the morning and so now only can sleep around 6. have to force myself to sleep early like 12-1 and then wake up at around 10-11or else i wun be able to sleep at night.

still have a last assignmen tto hand in next week and might wanna redo everything cos my first design was not that satisfying. cos went for last week's class and saw others' work and felt that my work is crap and have to do a better one sia... so this few days have to really work something out of it.

3.45am liao... have to sleep now and is 9 degrees, so cold...

have not been at home for the past few days and also spend quite a lot of money eating outside. went to uni on saturday to do my video assignment and work all the way until morning. slept in the lab at around 8am and then got woken up at 12pm. was still talking with charlotte on the msn and still thot it was still in the morning. she was like "huh! what u talking about?" (as usual). then i continue to add in more of the graphics into the video and now just left with a few parts to work on.

then later that night i went home to take some time out for shower. so me and jason went home by borrowing marlon's car. but then when i was on my way back to uni after my shower, the car stopped halfway on the road cos there was no fuel. so i waited for jason to come and then we walked to the petrol station and get some fuel for the car. then went to mac to have dinner.

have been doing work and also practising dota this 2 days and it was really fun. feels like i am back to poly days where we play and work together in the lab. now back at home to get some rest and should be going back to uni tmr agan to continue working on assignment. wanna finish the assignment fast and then can relax.

missed the f1 show on sunday due to the stupid video assignment and somemore i loved that track cos it runs through the monaco houses. but just too bad i cant watch. well... ferrari lost again and mclaren got first and second place. hope the ferrai can catch up with the title race...

my indesign had originally changed from week 13 to week 14 and now it changes again cos my tutor had to leave the class half way to send her husband to hospital for checkup. think so cos she said her husband just got eye operation so... well, din really listen to what she said. anyway assignment postpone again so can concentrate on other assignment. need to focus on working on the video liao. i would be the 6th person to present and i felt rather happy cos present finish liao can go and and think of other assignment. think now wanna continue to work on the indesign assignment...

have been writing my essay assignment today. i seem to have a theory subject every semester and this sem is design, technology and society. so i have to write something that involved in design, technology and the society. decided to write on manga and the theme of kawaii-ness and also how this kawaii curture is influencing the asian countries, especially taiwan.

had been reading comics or manga since i was very young, think abt 9 or 10. the first comic i bought was doraemon and the first set of comic i read was dragonball. for this assignment, i had to like relate some facts of manga but very strange that i cant really write something out of it. had been struggling to come out with something to write. then also try and look for references and see how i can say and combine together. really driving me crazy sia... now only like come out the first paragraph. think when i send to tze wei to see, she surely want to punch me sia.

din do well for the test, actually failed the test. feel quite sad but i think is no point crying over spill milk, (tho normally i will still drink the spill milk) - irrelevant. i guess what i can only do is to come out with a "zai" essay lor. but after today, i feel like giving up sia. called urara just now and will be meeting her in school to ask her some ideas for my essay. hope that as a cute japanese girl, she will be able to provide me with her thots of kawaii and also her experience with reading manga.

this week onwards, i will get busy liao cos essay is due 2 weeks later and then the following week will be my other 2 assignment due on tuesday and thursday. video assignment will continue to work this weekend and the indesign assignment, i only done the template and still dun have the images yet. will be putting the texts in class according to the tutor.

well... i guess is time to work hard liao...

have been craving and eating mac. dunno why, just feel like eating. last year think only eaten a few times but this year i seem to keep eating this few weeks. also had been drinking coke cos is reather cheap, normally we will like buy a box, either 18, 24 or 30 depend on which one got sales. besides those 2, also got eat ice cream. had been eating ice cream tho the weather is rather cold but just cant stop eating. er... still got what ah... bought some chocolates also tho i not the kind of person who will eat chocolate. since sales then just buy to eat lor cos sometimes mouth will feel itchy one mah. have been eating non-stop for this few weeks not sure if is because weather becoming colder so will like eat cos gets hungry very fast.

been watching big brother everyday and eating chips at the same time (eating again). not say i like to watch tv or what, just that the time happened to be my dinner time and so will on the tv and watch lor. quite interesting to see a group of people being put into a house and lived together for a few months and have the housemates being eliminated every week, leaving the final housemate being the winner. like friday night live cos can see the housemates involved in different kind of games making a fool out of themselves.

semester finishing soon, now will to start to think of what to do during the holiday and also to prepare for next semester liao. hopefully i can finish all my assignments in time...

私の炊き込みご飯 (my takikomi gohan)

long time never post images of food liao. this is takikomi gohan until now i still dunno what is the meaning. asked hitomi before and according to her explanation was "cooked rice". but think urara told me is like rice with the ingredient cooked together. only ate takikomi gohan last year cos hitomi was the one cooking my dinner. quite like the taste cos when i looked at it, my first impression was it taste like 油饭 or 糯米饭 and i sort of like it very much. did asked her to teach me but then she din have the time to teach me but then she told me roughly how to cook. but then think i failed at the first time cos i added in too much water and so everything was very watery.

think the takikomi gohan suits ne very well cos is very simple to prepare and not too bad to eat. just simply choose the ingredients and then cooked together with the rice in the rice cooker. the most important thing is the spices to add in during cooking, which include sake, mirin, soya sause and dashi. of course the proportion of each is according to each and individual's preference. other than those can still add like salt, pepper or others, 自由发挥.

but think i really hope to see how hitomi cook cos i feel that her cooking is more nice as in more artistic. she always like to make the dishes nice nice tho it will only be nice for a while but she still spent the effort to do it. however the biggest irony is that she dun like to cook and yet her food is so nice lor... i cant even cook something good sia...

week 10 soon

really quite fast, now semester gonna end liao and is going to be week 10 soon. for me week 14 will be my last week. still have 3 assignments to be due on the week 14. just done the basic editing for video 2 assignment and now need to do the rest of the video in after effects. the illustrator still haven start cos still learning how to use the indesign and only need to do research. for the essay, "*sigh~", dunno what to do sia. know what to write and can write quite freely but dunno hwo to start.

have been playing virtua tennis 3 on the psp cos was playing with steve using the multiplayer function. had a good time playing multiplayer mode. really quite satisfied with the connectivity of the psp in multiplayer mode, so far never got any disconnection during game play and that is a very good thing. anyway now stopped for a while liao cos trained my custom player until sian liao.

went to harbour town today with steve and we shared to buy soem t-shirts. 3 for $20 so me and steve each bought one and the last one we bought for thomas. saw another those adidas sports kits for $50, feel really quite worth it. but think i dun wanna to spend that money cos got enuff clothes liao so asked thomas to come harbour town to buy asap sia.

is really quite sometime since i last updated... now i am in uni continue to work on my assignment and is 6.11am. stayed in school overnight to do my 3d stuffs. feel quite tired now, think will be going home to rest for a while then come back to school to work again.

long time never write blog liao so just write some stuffs. came back to gold coast yesterday cos i have tests on mon and tue. went to surfers yesterday night with calais, yuki and asumi to have dinner at a korean resturant. the waitress that served us talked to yuki and asumi in jap but in actual fact she is a korean. i was quite surprised cos i never know korean can speak such good japanese. we were still guessing if she is a japanese or not. then after that went to walk around and then went to have some drinks at starbucks. din stay there long and we came home after that.

now i just woke up and wanna study for the monday test. dun really have the confident to pass the test cos is not easy to study. called hitomi last night and told her i was like giving up hope liao but thankfully she encouraged me. think i really have to work hard for the test liao.

just sharing what had happened when we stayed overnight to work on our assignment. is really entertaining and tiring. tiring cos we stayed all the way to work on the video 2 assignment. helped a bit of the filming for hassan and then also done my log and capture for my video. as we worked, we were like talking, joking and we really had a very good luff throughout. maybe is because we were mostly singaporeans and we had the common point to laugh at. the video was being taken by hassan cos we really think is entertaining as thanar was like protecting his netcheck but he was being like pulled away. for us is just a show to see the "golden couple" fighting. we gave them the name of "golden couple" cos they were being shot on screen and then they were like couples fighting over something plus the picture also had them like look at each other and also holding hands. it was really entertaining...

tho we spent a lot of time joking and playing around, we still managed to get most of our work done. was really glad we stayed overnight to do our assignment even tho is the first few days of the term break. later still have to go out, dun think will be sleeping...

today i started to help some of my friends to work on their assignments and also join some of the course that I din take. went to the music class to just listen. hm... sounds fun tho. then help hassan with his animation and help until i miss my bus. then when i reach home, got the chance to talk to a new fren, urara. er... japanese but has been in aussie for like 10+ years. i did help her with her animation but then most of the time we were like chatting. then she taught me some japanese also and we promised to meet up tmr to have a small test with each other. but now haven eat dinner and is like 11+ so have to go cook something and eat...

filming on the saturday

sat was in school the whole day doing my filming. so went school in the morning and met up with charlotte and monica. they are jason's fren and i usually dun talk to them. so when i met them, i started to like chat with them and then like hear what they wanna film. then they started to like atke out their everything and started to make some of the 道具(s). the 道具 is like making the fake grass cos they wanna put it in the foreground. so we were like taking tapes to paste the real grass to metal rods and then we also had to try very hard to make them stand. finally after making sure of everything can work then we start on the filming. really felt a bit stress cos charlotte was like super "gan jiong" queen and indirectly giving others a lot of stress sia. but in the end she finished hers and then next is hassan's turn to film.

when hassan is filming, we actually took a break and went to have lunch at sub-way. then i followed charlotte and monica to go see car and then also did some help in the testing of the car. feel quite shiok cos long time never drive car liao and some more is a manual car, even happier. after that we went back to school again for my filming.

took like 25 minutes to finish all filmings for the studio shoot and then also spent some time to do some clean up. so took the camera upstairs and then continue to take the remaining of the footages and then started to do some logging of the tape. but din do for very long cos was quite late and so went to keep and pack up everything in the studio. then walk home after the packing.

today promised to play soccer with yuki, my japanese housemate. he still haven wake uo but will be going to play in southport later at around 3pm. now just surf net and also do some cleaning of the room.

have been working on the design, technology and society assignment today and managed to finish writing. cant believe that i could bull shit my way out to have the proposal for my essay. but then i still afraid of the mid term exam sia cos i cant even understand the readings. but think some of the people still haven got the readings. hope i can at least get a credit for this subject.

cos now need to wait to wash clothes so just do some graphics for my video 2 assignnment. have to start doing something cos i am planning to have some footage done next week. dunno if can finish the video on time or not and also not so sure if i still can remember how to create 3d objects in max or not. well... really have to worki hard a bit liao.

the illustrator tutor, sue told me that she is expected me to do well for the course. wow really giving me some pressure to ask me to give a much higher standard than the rest. but then i hope she could speed up the lesson cos everytime she is like writing the commands that she taught on the whiteboard and then the class will like copy. really feel that this is not the way to teach and i actually requested her to speed up and teach more things.

now need to wait for the clothes to finish washing and then put to dry and then sleep liao.

is been some time since i last updated my blog. used to update everyday or maybe twice a day. not because i am busy or what but think i am just too slack and feel too sian to do so. this sem i am taking 3 courses, 1 first year course, 1 sencond year course and 1 third year course.

first year course is on illustrator and most of the things i already know liao but i still sign up for that course cos wanna learn more. my fren was telling me is quite waste of money but i think is alright cos illustrator is a software i figured out myself and din attend any proper lesson before. glad to have the chance to attend the classes. the tutor is good but i think she is spending too much time on explaining the shortcuts and din most of the time i see people writing and taking down notes as if there is an exam. but in actual fact, those are the very basic like copy and past commands and blah blah blah... currently i am working on the first assignment which is to be due on the 7 or 8 week but other people are still trying to figure out how to use illustrator.

the other courses are time based video 2 and design, technology and society. video 2 needs to create a video clip and seriously i am not really into video cos i feel is a lot of work and i am not really into editing. but still have to do and still be starting to film the footages next week. the last one is something i hate most cos is a theory course. dunno how sia... but now have some concept and idea to write liao. will be writing on a research essay on manga as a national identity.

until now i am still feeling relax, still dun have the mood to do work. really glad that i can still be so relax cos i see my fren is like super busy. he really got to work on a lot of things and i am like 20-30% of his work load but we are classmate. but think will be helping to work on some of his assignments and then ask him to do my video assignment.

recently, kaili told me that she will be coming to australi but not going to visit me cos she going to perth. she said she is being sponsored and then when she go back to singapore, she will need to write some report or something. gave her denise's contact just in case if she needs any help at least got someone there to help her. kaili was quite funny cos she is like saying she dun like to eat western food cos she very the "cheena" then asked me whether she can bring biscuit and milo or not.

tmr is my rest day, will be going to the post office and will continue to think of my illustrator assignment 1. as for now, will try to relax cos today quite tired, wake up super early, stayed in school until 2+ then have presentation. so will be sleeping early today then continue to work tmr.

finally can post pictures by using the new blogger. took these 2 pics while staying overnight the last time. was playing dota using the 24 inch imac. the feeling is super shiok cos everything is so clear and the screen is super big. only thing that i dun like is when i wanna move my cursor from one corner to another cos is super far. but is really shiok. the first pic is to show the size of the screen being compared to an a4 drawing pad. was wroking on assignment, playing dota and also watching some shows throughout the night.

so the time based video 2 presentation is almost done, just left with a few more slides. had some basic design concept of the computer studies poster. then still have to think of what to write for the design, technology and society. have to really think about it over this weekend.

came back to gold coast firm ipswich on saturday cos need to help jason to film his digital project. on my way back, i had to take the rail bus from yeerongpilly to kuraby cos the rail track was in the process of upgrading.

din really have good dinner this few days cos dunno why just dun have the mood to cook. today was wanting to buy some stuffs from the asian shop in australia but then it was closed when i went over. the whole afternoon i had been helping jason to film his project in southport behind australia fair. tonight just eat instant noodle cos dun feel like cooking. think have to go australia fair again tmr to buy food for this week.

due the xinyi's influence, i started to watch 转角遇到爱. used that to kill time. had been doing some reading but really cant get into head. weather had been quite ok but nowadays, is really very unpredictable cos sometimes will be extremely hot and sometimes become quite cooling. hope the winter can come faster so that the weather will be more stablized.

new slippers

bought this in harbour town cos wanna put a pair of slippers over at my sister's side so that i dun need to bring slippers whenever i go over.

the t-shirts are from adidas as well... selling at aud$20 which is about sg$25, sizes from 8, 10, 12 to 14. if anyone interested in getting can tell me.

had been raining the whole day since morning. is really quite good so that it wun be so hot. today din really do much just chat with shuen in the morning and read some comics. after having my lunch, went to harbour town to buy this slippers and also a t-shirt. next i went to the post office to send that t-shirt to singapore for xinyi. then i was wanting to use my bank card to pay but then the person said under $10 cant use card then i had to give cash lor. so dun have much cash and i need cash to pay the bus fare tmr. feeling no choice, i went home, put the slippers down and went to draw money at coles. in the end i also spent some money to buy some other things and asked for cash out from coles. when walking home, it was still drizzling but i also dun care since i had been walking in the rain the whole day. on the way home, i was thinking how far it could be from my house to coles and i was making wild guesses. i then started to count my foot steps half way back home. so total i counted about 587 steps, each step is around 50cm and so is about close to 300 metres.

when reached home, feel a bit of headache, think maybe walk too much in the rain liao. had a shower just now and now washing clothes. later still ahve to eat dinner and then will need to pack for tmr as i will be going to south bank to study and then after that i will go to ipswich.

today went to school for time based video 2 lesson. had a lecture in the morning and then the tutorial. when i stepped into the mac lab where i always went last semester, i was so stunned cos every com had changed to the new 24 inch imac. the screens are super big lor... super shiok to use sia...

tonight dinner had to cook myself again and glad that now i am really feeling very full. just went to coles to buy some stuffs after i returned from school. cooked chicken but din eat much cos was trying to finish the 麻婆豆腐. so still have quite some food for the next few days.

went for school and had a boring start... the tutor said we shld have done some reading before we start but i check the website, there is nothing for us to read. absolutely nothing at all... so he just read out the reading and everyone was like falling asleep...

then walk home today since i dun wanna spend money to take the bus, then i realised that it was really lonely walking alone. used to have hitomi to walk with me and we will talk and joke along the way. then when reach home, she will prepare the dinner. now have to think of what to eat and what i should buy by myself. i rem the last time i always feel full when i went to bed but now i will feel hungry during bedtime, really not used to it. think have to work hard to find someone to cook for me.

night safari

last day liao... soon they will be going back to taiwan. finally know my niece name is 禹馨.

morning went to meet them and had lunch at orchard... waited for 1hr for our turn cos was lunch time. then brought 小姑姑 to cedar primary, which is also my primary. so went there to look at the school environment and also walk around the school compound. managed to have one of the staffs to bring us around. then after that i went home to get changed and then went to amk s-11 to have dinner with the rest. since my niece dun wanna sit still so i carry her and let my cousin to eat her dinner.

so we went night safari after that by taking bus 138. buy tickets liao then we went in and took the tram to tour around the safari. really quite fun tho i had been to night safari before and thourghout the whole tour, i got to translate some of the things that the tram captain explained. the pic was taken right after we boarded the tram and my niece was still not alseep yet. as the tram moved on, my niece slept maybe she thot lights of liao so is time for her to sleep. after the tour, we went home and they managed to get a ride to orchard for $4 and only adult paid.

just packed most of my lugguge and now washing clothes so that they could be dried before i left. now still have to wait until the clothes wash finish and then have to hang to dry. in the morning still have to go airport to send them off and then in the evening have to have dinner with 大舅舅. think can only rest after i board the plane. really really tired...

sentosa trip

just remembered something that happened when i went to the airport to fetch my relatives. me and my dad took a cab to the airport and i realised that the taxi driver's driving skill sux... i really feel he was like drunk lor, cant go straight one. then when he turned out of the expressway, the side mirror almost smashed into the tree. then when reaching the airport, he turned to the departure hall instead of arrival hall. so i told him we were supposed to go arrival hall and he replied just go down also the same one. after hearing, i was really pissed off cos i think is really unprofessional, where got people do wrong liao still can dun admit one.

anyway went to sentosa with my relatives. only met them during lunch cos was really tired. my job mainly was to help my cousin(堂姐) to carry the 娃娃车. then also got carry her daughter. she still very good gal and i still can carry her and she wun cry. still haven got the pictures from caleb but will post when i got them. so we went to see the 4d cinema, pink dolphin, underwater world and after that i left liao. still got other but cos i went to meet tze wei for dinner so din join.

really have been quite tired cos din really sleep well and also had to follow the relatives and had to take care of the young kids cos they are super hyper active. still have to call my primary school's principal in the morning to arrange my relatives to go down to the school to see the education system in singapore. so have to wake up early and hope can arrange something or else really wasted... not sure still got what other events cos they seem to want to go night safari...

yesterday was really a super busy day. go airport in the afternoon to fetch my relatives that came from taiwan. total got 7 adults and 5 children. after they came out from the airport, we straight away went to the hotel to check in and then came to my house. then after that we had dinner at my place and then we went over to amk. is the first time that so many people gathered at the same place. got took some pics with peishan jie jie's daughter but dunno what is her name. she quite cute. then after that still went to seng's place for gathering. just came back from his place... later still have to go sentosa. super tired... then i haven pack my lugguage yet... but need to go sleep now...

when i went to airport to fetch my dad, i saw huang yi da. think he took the same flight as my dad. he not really that skinny as i thot think the same proportion as me.

van on fire

went to orchard to get my jeans and also cut my hair. on my way to far east plaza, i saw from far there was smoke rising... the first thot was "fire". then priscilla was beside me and she was like "hey go see fire, i want to see!" i was like "有没有搞错!" so we continued to walk on. when nearing far east, already got a lot of people were also looking at the incident. not sure what actually happened cos when we reached, we only can see a van was on fire and the whole van was burning. a lot of people just gathered, mostly on the overhead bridge to see the van burning.

so i called kaili cos she is reporter and told her this incident. she was not on duty but she still asked me to go take pictures of the incident. so i just anyhow take lor. by the way when i take the incident was almost over liao so nothing much to take also. then at night, kaili's friend still called me to ask me for info on that incident.

heehee... once i saw people drank yakult this way and i did the same thing last time. so today i went shopping with jingling and cos she said wanna buy water so we went cold storage. while she was looking for water, we came by the yakult section and we were saying we long time never drink yakult liao. then the sales auntie started tralking to us and in the end we bought one packet. so this is how we drank the yakult. we drank 2.5 bottle per person.

sat went to paul's house to do pineapple tarts. a bit scare of the smell now...

have been playing captain tsubasa on ps2 recently, quite natsukashii... cos last time used to read the comics during primary school. the game is like the comic book and there are a lot of the scenario of the comic happening in the gameplay... is really quite fun.

went to celebrate edel's bday tho is one day late. ate jap food. initially got more people come one but then we ganna dua about some of the people... in the end only edel, me, caleb and hao min went. the food was nice can really go eat again.

睡前不喝水習慣的人....要注意！

睡前、洗澡時候，水分流失量大，

已經養成睡前不吃東西不喝水習慣的人，

容易造成血液中水分不足，而引起腦梗塞或心肌梗塞的危險。

人在睡眠中仍會消耗一至兩杯左右的水分，
從晚餐後到第二天早上起床前，如果都不補充水分，
第二天早上起床或快天亮的時侯，最容易發生血栓，
使血管堵住，引發心臟病及腦部疾病。

國人在習慣上喜歡睡前沐浴，洗個乾乾淨淨的澡再上床，
但洗澡的時候最容易流失水份，

所以醫生建議，洗澡後最好要馬上補充水分，

如果有泡澡習慣的人，則應該在洗澡前先喝一大杯水，

以免在浴室停留太久，流失過多的水分，

輕者也會發生呼吸困難、休克的現象。

夏天開冷氣睡覺能睡得好一點，
不過冷氣有防溼乾燥的作用，更是會流失水分，

因此有開冷氣睡覺習慣的人更應該睡前喝水，
但是不要喝茶，因為醫生說，茶有利尿作用，
反而會排出比喝下去更多的水分，造成反效果，
就算不會有咖啡因提神作用的人，也不適合在睡前喝茶。

have not been wearing this watch for 1 year liao cos din bring it to aussie. only wear a few times after i came back. bought this watch 2 years ago when i was still in army. just a normal o.d.m watch, first batch one. then recently i wanna try and adjust back the watch time cos the time was being reset by accident. then i tried to push the button and everything was like blank and then i realised that no more batt liao. so i went to yishun and brought along the watch hoping i can replace the batt. went to timex and they said they dun change this kind of batt. but when i was asking, i realised the person serving me was winnie but i din call her name cos i really cant confirm if is her or not. i later called jerlyn and asked where winnie works. jerlyn said timex, then i realised that is really winnie. the reason i cant confirm is because winnie's face is very pretty now, now like last time. jerlyn was saying i very bad but i am just telling the truth. recently i also realised that some of my friends' face all become quite nice liao... so envy.

was with wee yesterday when going home cos we both lived in sembawang. then i showed him my pink ic in mrt and then he told me that is 1 year liao. then i remembered that i am a singaporean for 1 year liao. haha... should i celebrate??? hm... really quite interesting cos when i was a taiwanese, i came to singapore to study and after i became a singaporean, i was not in singapore but in australia. so i am always a foreigner. was watching 我猜我猜我猜猜 and was showing those people who are 混血 one. so i suddenly wonder if i considered 混血 or not cos i am taiwan and singapore mix mah...
